| How Do You Want To Be Treated? |

I have had many "favorite quotes" throughout the years, but one that I always preach to my children, and try to ensure they hold tight to, is inspired by "The Golden Rule"! The Golden Rule, loosely quoted, is:
Do Unto Others, As You'd Have Others, Do Unto You!
So, most days, when I find my children arguing, fighting over a toy or just not getting along; I usually ask them one of the following:
- Is that how you want to be treated?
- Did you do what you could to be accommodating, or kind?
- How would you feel if they did that to you?
Usually I'll get a response that indicates they need to hear my tried and true quote:
ALWAYS, Treat Others, How YOU Want To Be Treated!
Now, THOSE are words to live by!
